We care about miniature schnauzers
Schnauzer Friends - South Africa ensures miniature schnauzers get networked as widely as possible when lost, found, or need a new forever home. Having a community of over 20000 schnauzerholics across South Africa means that we are very effective when a miniature schnauzer needs help. We do not have a shelter. We are a community of schnauzerholics who love miniature schnauzers!

MINIATURE SCHNAUZER REHOMING SERVICE
We offer a custom rehoming service to people who are emigrating, downsizing or whose circumstances have changed, and want to be involved in the rehoming of their miniature schnauzers. Email us at schnauzerfriendsza@gmail.com with your contact number, circumstances and miniature schnauzer details, and we will contact you to discuss.
ADOPTING A MINIATURE SCHNAUZER
Rescue miniature schnauzers are very popular and get snapped up quickly. We do NOT keep an adoption waiting list. Please keep a look out on our Schnauzer Friends South Africa - Rescue Facebook page as we share any rescue miniature schnauzers information there. The miniature schnauzer details, location, requirements and contact details will be on each ad as they differ per dog and the circumstances. When you see a suitable schnauzer please apply. We have no schnauzers waiting in foster care (like other breeds), so if you are keen on a small breed dog you could also consider contacting your local shelter or Maltese, French Poodle & Yorkie Rescue South Africa, as they have many other small breed dogs waiting to be adopted. TIP: Follow the Schnauzer Friends - South Africa - Rescue Facebook page and mark the page 'See FIRST" then you won't miss out when we network a miniature schnauzer for adoption.
LOST/FOUND/RESCUE MINIATURE SCHNAUZERS
Please contact us at schnauzerfriendsza@gmail.com or via Facebook if you know of a lost/found/rescue miniature schnauzer who needs help and we will assist to network them.

We spread our love and successes
We spread the love and our successes by assisting animal shelters.
n 2016/7, we headed up the fundraising project to raise a million rand to build a sterilisation clinic at Woodrock Animal Rescue in Gauteng. The Schnauzer Friends community raised nearly half of the money. The clinic was built and opened in 2018. Schnauzer Rosabella Blane is the clinic patron and you will see her photo hanging up on the clinic wall.
We paid for four * 30 meter runs to be built at the Stilfontein/Matlosana Animal Shelter in Klerksdorp North West,
We have paid for a small building for Home for Paws in Lydenburg Mpumalanga to assist them in treating animals who need special care.
