MINIATURE SCHNAUZER HOME GROOMING EQUIPMENT

The correct equipment is key to successful home grooming.

Home grooming  is the best thing you can do for your miniature schnauzers!   When you home groom your miniature schnauzers, not only will you have more special one on one bonding time with them, you will also keep them safe from potential harm at mobile groomers and parlours.  They will look fabulous with a proper schnauzer cut and you can groom when and where it suits you.

Grooming equipment can be scary as there is a lot out there.  There is a lot of rubbish and cheap junk that will not work. Many people contact me when they have issues with the equipment they purchased from a pet store or takalot as its not working correctly on their miniature schnauzer. They then end up buying grooming equipment again, wasting the money the spent on the incorrect equipment.

Ensure you purchase  quality  items that  will last you for many years and be safe for your schnauzers. Like any craft or hobby  the correct equipment makes a  big difference.  Consider the money you will be saving by home grooming your own miniature schnauzers, and the investment will pay itself off.    For example, if you have two schnauzers and take them to the parlour every five weeks and spend R250 per schnauzer, this will mean you spend R5000 per year.    R20 000 over four years.

A basic miniature schnauzer home grooming kit consists of:
  • The Schnauzer Friends miniature schnauzer grooming charts.
  •  A slicker brush.  The Lawrence Tender Care Soft Slicker Brush is the best brush for schnauzers.
  • A quality pet grooming clipper
  • Clipper blades  of various lengths.
  • Clipper maintenance and cleaning items
  • Quality grooming scissors.
  • Metal comb
  • Nail clippers
I cover miniature schnauzer home grooming equipment in detail  as part of my Schnauzer Friends ONLINE Miniature Schnauzer Home Grooming course.   In the course there is:
  • A Grooming Equipment Video where I explain the equipment and tools required.
  • A Grooming Equipment Guide download pdf listing the equipment and tools required.
  • My personal grooming recommendations and the information on where to purchase them.

As part of the course you have the opportunity to chat to me on the phone or email about the options that would best suit you and your schnauzer/s before you place your order.  I will ensure you  purchase the correct grooming equipment the FIRST time.

I hope you join the course.

Paw Salute for taking the first steps towards home grooming your miniature schnauzer/s!

It is the best thing you can do for your miniature schnauzer/s!
