Being a miniature schnauzer mom to four miniature schnauzers (the Schroyal Family), I know first-hand how worrying it can be if you are going away and need somewhere safe for your miniature schnauzers to stay. Especially if you are a besotted schnauzerholic like me! Since I started Schnauzer Friends South Africa 8 years ago, I have had many requests from schnauzer parents looking for a dog hotel that caters exclusively for miniature schnauzers, in a private home environment. Miniature schnauzers are sensitive dogs, with unique personalities, who need lots of love and cuddles. Normal kennels can be scary due to strange noises and smells, and many other breeds barking.
The Miniature Schnauzer Schroyal Dog Hotel is unique in that we ONLY have miniature schnauzers as guests, and our guests stay in our home that is already ruled by four miniature schnauzers!
The Miniature Schnauzer Schroyal Dog Hotel is our private home located in Paulshof Johannesburg. Paulshof is a leafy quiet suburb in the northern suburbs, between Lonehill, Sunninghill and Bryanston. The closest offramp from the N1 highway is the Rivonia Road off ramp.
Our home is on a secure fenced property of 1700m2 with a large established garden, large trees, lush grass, a swimming pool, extensive views, and lots of soft fluffy cushions. It is on a quiet street, off a pan handle at the bottom of a fenced off driveway, surrounded by houses, so there are no cars, or people walking past the house and garden.

The Miniature Schnauzer Schroyal Dog Hotel provides a safe environment where your miniature schnauzers can come for an exclusive hotel stay. They will be with my own four miniature schnauzers (the Schroyal Family) in our home and garden.
Your miniature schnauzers can roam in the garden, laze on the cushions on the patio, nap on the furniture, sleep inside with us, and enjoy being in a miniature schnauzer home away from home. Your miniature schnauzer will be safe and loved and enjoy having miniature schnauzer friends.

- Hotel rate is per miniature schnauzer per day. Both the day of arrival, days in between and the day of departure are charged for.
- Drop off is between 8am - 9am, and collection between 4pm - 5pm (unless a prior arrangement is agreed to). We will accommodate you and our guests as much as possible.
- 100 % non-refundable payment is required to secure/confirm your booking.
- Guests must be socialised and spayed/neutered.
- Guests tick/flea and deworming treatment must be up to date.
- Guests bring their own meals/treats so that they eat what they are used to. This helps to prevent issues with sensitive tummies.
- I provide daily photo's/videos so you can see that they are happy and loved, and because we understand that you will suffer from separation anxiety.
- In winter the swimming pool is covered. In summer it is not covered.
- Extra's such as grooming, giving medicine, providing the food etc. can be discussed and catered for if required at an additional charge.
