MINIATURE SCHNAUZER ADOPTION APPLICATIONS


Thank you for wanting to adopt a miniature schnauzer!  ​WE LOVE CHANGING SCHNAUZER LIVES AND PAW SALUTE YOU FOR DOING THE SAME!

WE ARE CURRENTLY ACCEPTING ADOPTION APPLICATIONS FOR BONDED PAIR MINIATURE SCHNAUZERS OLIVER and RUBY (both 8 years old)  TOGETHER. 

The ADOPTION FEE  is R1000 for the pair.  The adoption fee gets paid to an animal shelter in need that we nominate.  This is normally Home 4 Paws in Mpumalanga or Fallen Angels in Cape Town. Samantha who are handling this adoption will advise you which shelter she has chosen to support, if your application is successful.

PLEASE attach some photo's when you send in your application.  Photos of you, your pooches, your property etc.  This helps us know/understand you better.    We try give preference to people who already have miniature schnauzers/know the special breed, attend our fun walks and/or are active in our awesome online community.

HOW DO I KNOW THE STATUS OF THE  ADOPTION? 

We will update the status of the adoption post on our Schnauzer Friends South Africa - Rehoming and Adoptions Facebook page so keep a look out there.    
  • We REPLY to your adoption application email, to confirm it has been received.  
  • When the applications are CLOSED, we assess the  applications and decide on the best home for the schnauzer/s.  
  • We EMAIL you to let you know if you have been successful or not. 
  • When the schnauzer has been ADOPTED we  update the Schnauzer Friends South Africa - Rehoming and Adoptions​ Facebook page accordingly.  

WHAT IF MY APPLICATION IS NOT SUCCESSFUL?

​Rescue miniature schnauzers are very popular and get snapped up quickly.  We do NOT keep an adoption waiting list
. Please keep a look out on our Schnauzer Friends South Africa - Rehoming and Adoptions​ Facebook page as we share any rescue miniature schnauzers information there. The miniature schnauzer details, location, requirements and contact details will be on each ad as they differ per dog and the circumstances. When you see a suitable schnauzer please apply again.  We have no schnauzers waiting in foster care (like other breeds), so if you are keen on a small breed dog you could also consider contacting Schnauzer Rescue South Africa,  your local animal shelter or Maltese, French Poodle & Yorkie Rescue South Africa  as they have many other small breed dogs waiting to be adopted
